WHAT IS A SUSTAINING MEMBER?
Individuals, organizations, businesses, firms, corporations and other parties interested
in carrying out the purposes of the Association may be granted sustaining membership.
WHAT DOSE A SUSTAINING
MEMBER RECEIVE?
A sustaining member will receive a handsome handcrafted solid oak plaque, with a
raised mahogany inlay of the State of New York topped off with a New York Fire
Investigators seal. A bronze ribbon indicating
"Sustaining Member, New York I.A.A.I." tops a field of yearly donation
ribbons for twelve (12) years. This work of fine craftsmanship
could be proudly displayed in your home or office and would
serve as a testament to your support of the New York Chapter
of the International Association of Arson Investigators.
In addition, each sustaining member will have their name, organization,
business, firm or corporate name prominently identified in each issue
of the Official Publication (The Fire Scene) of the New York IAAI for
as 'long as they are a sustaining member. Each issue reaches over
1000 members of the New York IAAI as well as many other friends
and organizations throughout North America. It's without question,
a unique method of advertising your firm, corporation or business 
and at the same time support our many worthwhile projects.
WHAT DOSE IT COST?
An annual contribution of $200.00 provides you with this handsome
handmade plaque, with the bronze year ribbon indicating the year of your
introduction. The following eleven (11) annual contributions of $200.00 per
year provide you with yearly bronze ribbons to be added to your plaque.
Your yearly pledge of support will enable our Chapter to keep our
membership costs to a minimum, help defray the spiraling costs of our
newsletter, enable us to assist host seminar sites in bringing in speakers
from outside New York, as well as many other worthwhile projects.
The President, Officers, and Board of Directors call upon each
member to bring in at least one SUSTAINING MEMBER.
